I have experienced various expeditions and adventure travel all these years due to my work and traveling addiction, either solo backpacking or group traveling. This is journal on exploration, scientific research, and noteworthy adventure travel notes across Southeast Asia especially Indonesia.

Recent project

Most selection of recent projects based at Daemeter Consulting. We are a leading independent consulting firm promoting sustainable development through responsible and equitable management of natural resource, with clients from domestic and multinational companies, to NGOs, donor agencies, governments and research organisations.

I have been fortunate to be IPBES fellow until the next few years ahead to work as co-authors together with top biologist and ecosystem service experts in global level. I participated in the First Authors’ Meeting on the Regional Assessments for Asia Pacific Region 17-21 August, 2015 at Tokyo, Japan.

  •  High Conservation Value (HCV) Assessment

Biodiversity survey in HCV assessment is one of my main job responsibility as biodiversity specialist at Daemeter. Our site location are in Indonesia (Sumatra, Kalimantan, West Papua), and recently in Myanmar and Papua New Guinea, with clients include Cargill Tropical Palm Holdings Pte Ltd, NBPOL, DSN Group, KULIM Group, Flora and Fauna International (FFI).

  •  Baseline study on Indonesian consumers’ perception on SPO

Baseline study on Indonesian consumers’ perception on Sustainable Palm Oil (SPO). Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) commissioned this study to understand the level of awareness, values and aspirations, and what will appeal to Indonesian consumers to promote increasing domestic demand for sustainable palm oil. I am responsible as technical support in this project.

Daemeter is partnering with FFI to raise awareness about sustainability in Myanmar and train palm oil companies to conduct benchmark self-assessments against the RSPO’s Principles and Criteria. I am responsible as trainer for this training and benchmark self-assessments.
