As part of the job, moment before going to the forest maybe the most exciting part of my life. It would take a week or two weeks to do the preparation which maybe quite the same like when you go for traveling. It might be there is a lot of expectation when you are doing your travelling whether meeting new people, chasing new bats, exploring new location, or maybe another awesome adventures ahead!
I am already for a month now in Buton Island, Southeast Sulawesi. The first plan will be for 2 months in the forest and another one week in the beach. My workplace has two location sites, terestrial sites and marine sites. The terestrial sites located in Buton Island, Southeast Sulawesi. You can reach this place from Makasar, South Sulawesi by plane, ferry or maybe speed boat from Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. The marine sites located in Hoga Island near Kaledupa which is one of WAKATOBI Islands (WAnci KAledupa TOmia BInongko). About two days ago I met one of the staff and ask if that possible I could go to Hoga for a week and have open water diving course with PADI. They say I could go there and it will be so much better because I can get special price (hurray!). OKAY I am really excited now!!! Definitely will look forward for the trip!!
