Anything you can find in Dharamsala starts here!!

Above picture is mural on Tibetan resistance, some of them including self immolation. You can visit a museum near Dalai Lama temple and residence to know more information for free. Leave your camera at special counter as it’s forbidden to carry them near this Dalai Lama’s area.

You will find many souvenir shops, hostels, and restaurants on the way to Dalai Lama Temple. Some of them selling in very cheap price (if you can bargain of course)

I don’t think people in western country use word ‘druggist and cosmetician’ in their home country, right?

Saya pikir orang barat tidak pernah memakai kata ‘druggist and cosmetician’ di negara asal mereka, bukan?

Gods pictures in a shoe shop: this pretty much common in every place around India although I feel it is so strange at first.

Night market with jewelery stalls: we want to buy some of them but it was closed on the next day which also our final day in Dharamsala.

Norling Restaurant: The best tibetan food in town. It has been said to be the best one but for us Indonesian the taste is plain. However, after you have Delhi Belly actually it is quite nice. Try Momo (Tibetan dumpling with chicken/mutton/vegetables) and Butter Tea (staple drink for monks). I will try to post some pictures of Indian and Tibetan food later.

Old Tibetan Grannies: happy and strong with canes … and they are very talkative!! :D
