More time for personal development, a win-win solution in pandemic time

In March 2021, I am currently back in my hometown so I can take care of my mother in pandemic time. While I have been working remotely for more than three years, there is no big difference in my working habit. But I truly miss is the fact that no more travelling time both work and pleasure. Especially when there was no window opportunity to get a vaccine for people less than 60 years old. Back then and until these days, partial lockdown is applied everywhere within and outside the country.

My Self Review 2020

2020 is undoubtedly the peculiar year for anyone around the world. For the first time in my life, it is excellent staying at home! The key is keeping your own space and a lot of green plants around you! I less travelled after March 2020, and the further I have gone would be coffee shops in downtown.

Traveling Gears 2021 (WFH edition)

I haven’t been posting this topic for the last couple of years. Surely there were few changes on my Traveling Gears as I usually tried to get things handed to family or donated when I don’t feel happy to use it again. I have been fortunate to have an opportunity to work from home for two years, and these following products are used daily nowadays.

Mungkin banyak di antara teman-teman yang sudah mendengar, membaca dan menonton berbagai topik sekitaran Digital Minimalism, Puasa Media Sosial, dan berhenti sosial media. Terkait dengan isu media sosial, Pangeran Harry juga baru-baru ini juga telah menulis bagaimana media sosial telah memecah belah kehidupan masyarakat modern dan perlunya peran perusahaan dalam membatasi konten berbahaya (lihat tautan ini). Berdasarkan pengalaman pribadi ternyata ada perbedaan secara psikologis dengan berpuasa dan berhenti media sosial secara total.

My Best Book I Read in 2018

These are the best book that I recommend to read to everyone. I read less book in 2018 due to my work and traveling time. Most books are non fiction and more of my interest for self improvement and productivity.

My Self Review 2018

I would say that 2018 is a year for personal growth and taking risk. I travelled quite a lot as well due to work and here are some highlights. Anyway I should make this post earlier but I only have time just recently.

Pada hari Sabtu, 24 November 2018 saya mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mengikuti kursus “Tea Time and Etiquette” yang diselenggarakan oleh Ibu Neni Sato @livelytclass, instruktur teh asli Indonesia yang sekarang berdomisili di Tokyo, Jepang. Asal mula saya mengikuti kursus ini adalah murni karena keingintahuan saya sebagai pecinta teh (tea enthusiast). Karena hingga saat ini mungkin saya belum terlalu mengetahui etiket minum atau menyediakan teh yang baik dan benar.

Working in a consulting company focused on conservation and sustainability issues, I spent half of my time traveling to one to another city or country. Throughout these years, for me traveling alone (work or pleasure) is somewhat practical and sometimes even cheaper by taking flight compare taking other transportation mode.
